Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks are fascinating and distinctive-looking sharks that can be found in the warm coastal waters of the worlds oceans. These amazing creatures have a unique hammer-shaped head that is flattened and curved, with eyes at each end that provide them with excellent vision and depth perception.

Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks are known for their excellent sense of smell and can detect prey such as fish and squid from long distances away. They are also social animals and can form schools that can number in the hundreds. Unfortunately, Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks are endangered due to overfishing and the demand for their valuable fins, which are considered a delicacy in some cultures.
